After his first appearances as a singer-songwriter in Lugo in 1972, he went on as a singer-songwriter in Barcelona since 1977 and carried out performances in Galician centres, cultural centres, City Councils and festivities all round Barcelona and Galicia. He also performed with Andrés Dobarro, Fuxan Os Ventos and Ana Kiro. In 1979 he took part in the group PETAPOUCO and together with Mariano Alonso founded the duet LEMBRANZAS in 1985. He founded ZOA, a folk group of the Galician Centre in Barcelona, in 1998 and the traditional group RAXANALO, USA (1999).

 Work & Activities

He has published the following records: PETAPOUCO (1979), DIASPORA (1999) and DIASPORA II (2003). He has also set to music most poems written by the poet Manuel Rodríguez López as well as poems of the most important Galician, Castilian and Catalan poets. Nowadays he is a trilingual singer-songwriter and his songs deal with themes of Spanish culture.
