He already showed his interest for painting when he was still a child and it was in Madrid, while he was studying Architecture that he began to exhibit his work. Throughout his life, he combined both his professional activity as an architect and painting and poetry. He married the painter Mercedes Ruibal.
These are some of his most important works: alteration of the old Moya shop, the alteration of the ground floor of the Mercantile Circle, Fátima Clinic and Concheiro Hospital.
He exhibited his works in Madrid on several occasions as well as in Moscow, Lisbon, Paris and Rome, where he got in touch with Italian painters and the poet Rafael Alberti.
