Currículum

-Her first appearance in politics took place in 1999 when she got the 5th position in the candidature of the BNG in Melide.

-In 2003 she became the leader of the nationalist candidature.

-Some months after the local elections of 2003, she was elected provincial deputy and was the spokeswoman of the BNG in A Coruña County Council from 2003 to 2007.

-At the end of 2003 she was elected member of the national council and the national executive committee of the BNG.

-In 2006, she gave up to devote herself to the local politics and one year later she became mayor of Melide.
