Curriculum

He works as a teacher of Vocational Training (sanitary branch)and nursing assistant at the health centre in O Irixo. He also took a degree in Law. He started his political activity in Compostela, coinciding with the assistance and labour reformation at 'Conxo' Psychiatric Hospital. From 1973 to 1978, he took an active part in the protests of this hospital; these demonstrations were especially important and had a wide repercussion in the Psychiatry view and the situation of all workers. He was deputy Mayor in O Carballiño, member of the 'BNG' National council, member of the Galician Parliament (BNG) and responsible for the Emigration Commission. Nowadays, he is the provincial delegate of the vicepresidency in Ourense.
