He began to work in theatre and short films until he became famous in Galicia with "Mareas Vivas" on TVG. In February 2003 he was elected ‘Galego do Mes’ (El Correo Gallego).
He has worked with prestigious Spanish directors such as José Luis Borau, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Joaquín Oristrell, Iciar Bollain, Fernando León de Aranoa and Daniel Monzón.
He also worked with international directors such as Michael Mann in "Miami Vice" (2006), Jim Jarmusch in "Limits of Control" (2009) and Bernad Rose in "Mr. Nice" (premiere pending).
Last summer he finished filming “Mientras Duermes” by Jaume Balagueró (nowadays in postproduction and premiere pending).
He is the main actor of "A ópera dos tres reás" (2011), the new production of the Galician Drama Centre, directed by Quico Cadaval and based on one of the most famous plays by Bertold Brecht, which was turned into a cabaret performance by Kurt Weill.
