He took a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a doctor?s degree in Agronomy. He is a professor of the department of Agricultural and Forest Engineering. Nowadays,, he is the director of the Polytechnic School and a member of the governing body of Santiago University. He directed the University School of Forest Engineering and was the secretary of the EUETA and University School of Agricultural Engineering and the Polytechnic School.

He has directed research projects such as: O uso da madeira nas construccións rurais de Galiza and Necesidades de formación no sector rural. He published the book Aloxamentos para gando vacún de leite en Galiza.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He is a member of the committee that organises the conferences about agrarian agriculture. From 1991 to 1996, he was the spokesman of the political party 'BNG' in the City Council of Lugo and member of the National Council of 'BNG' in different periods. Since 1974, he has collaborated in the ?Sindicato Labrego Galego?.
