-Degree and doctor's degree in Medicine at Santiago University. -Research work in Neurosciences at Milan Univesity (Italy) and the National Health Institutes (Bethesda, Maryland, U.S.A.). -Physiology professor at the Faculty of Medicine (Santiago University). -Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Santiago University (from 1984 to 1989). -Chief of the section of Clinical Neurophysiology at the University Hospital of Santiago.

 Work & Activities

He published several articles about physiology of the nerve system in international magazines. He got a prize from the 'Grant' Foundation (New York) for his research work in Neurosciences. He is the founder and president of the nationalist club 'Alén Nós'.
