Political participation:
January 2000: She joined the Socialist Youth in Vilalba.
January 2000 – October 2004: Secretary responsible for Environment in the Socialist Youth of Vilalba.
2001: Candidate of the Socialist Party in representation of the province of Lugo in the autonomic elections of 21st October.
2003: Candidate of the Socialist Party in Vilalba in the municipal elections of 25th May.
July 2004: She affiliates to the PSOE.
Since the end of 2004 she has been on the local executive committee of the Socialist Party in Vilalba.
May 2007: She was a candidate of the Socialist Party in Vilalba in the municipal elections of 27th May. After the elections she was councillor in Vilalba.
March 2008: She was a candidate to the Senate, representing the province of Lugo, in the general elections celebrated on 9th March 2008.
Member of the Galician national executive commission of the Socialist Party since July 2008.
