He took a degree in double bass at the Music Conservatoire of Salamanca, was double bass player at the Royal Galician Philharmonic Orchestra and collaborated in other orchestras like the Galician Symphonic Orchestra, the Spanish National Orchestra, the Extremadura Orchestra and RTVE Orchestra, among others. Nowadays he is double bass player of A Coruña Music Band.

He usually works for different artists and projects of modern music.

He worked as a teacher at the Music Conservatoire of Palencia and the Music School of Oleiros. He also participated in different international festivals like the Sixth Latin American Congress of Double Bass, Barcelona Bass Meeting, Festival Ludwig Streicher, Via Stellae, BASS 2012 and Festival au Desert, among others.

He made recordings for different national and international record labels, as well as advertising spots and sound tracks.

He participated in TV and radio programmes like RNE, TVE, TVG, Radio clásica, Canle Satélite Dixital, Telecinco...

He was awarded a mention for his piece “A night in Compostela” at the Recital Music Bass Composition Competition 2011 and a honourable mention for his Concertino nº 1 for solo double bass and double bass quartet at the David Walter International Composition Competition 2012.
