She studied Primary Education at 'Pío XII' School and Secondary Education at 'Rosalía de Castro' Institute. During the academic year 1986-87, she studied the pre-university course at Yago School in Oxford. From 1987 to 1992, she studied Law at Santiago University. During the academic year 1990-91, she studied by means of and 'Erasmus' scholarship at Le Mans University for nine months.During the school year 1993-94, she specialises in Law at 'London High School of Law', taking the corresponding certificate. During the period 1995-96, she improved his career at Université Paris III -Formation Postuniversitarie Internationale and took her certificate. In 1996, she started to work as lawyer at 'Porto Lawyer's Office' in Montero Ríos Street (Santiago de Compostela). On 3 March 1997, she was nominated as Consul of France in Santiago and the French Road with jurisdiction in the Galician Autonomous Region.
From 1982 to 1992, she made many summer courses on English and French language, spending most of those summers in different cities of United Kingdom and France: Montpellier, Toulousse, Clarman-Ferrand, Reimes, Oxford, Cambridge, Portsmouth, Swansea, Paris, London...
She is a member of the Association of Businesswomen in Santiago, where she carries out an important activity.
