He began to draw when he was very young, influenced by the most important classic comic cartoonists he always admired.
Most of his production is dedicated to the comic he has been publishing since the 90’s in various magazines and for different institutions. He also published historical and classical works such as “O Mariscal Pardo de Cela”, “Guillelme e Rosalía”, “María Castaña” and “Almanzor” and three oblong notebooks about medieval themes and the adventures of a noble family in the 13th century. “El patito editorial” has recently compiled all this material and published “Aventura no Camiño de Santiago I”.
Regarding designed band, he published the series “Xulieta” in ‘El Provisional’, “Os Fdez” in ‘Golfiño’ and most recently “Os Fdez no corazón da noite” in ‘Galimatías’.
He worked as an illustrator in “El Progreso” (Lugo) and collaborated in many educative and didactic publications.
He has participated in “Historias de Galicia” on Galician TV and in the illustration of “De sol a sol”.
He carried out individual and collective exhibitions:
“XII Xornadas de Banda Deseñada” (individual exhibition), Provincial Museum (Ourense).
“Viñetas desde o Atlántico. Dez anos de Viñetas, dez anos de banda deseñada” (collective exhibition), A Coruña (2002).
“Historieta Galega, 1973-2008” (collective exhibition), Auditorium (Santiago de Compostela).
At the moment he is working in the second part of “Aventura no Camiño de Santiago” and combines his job as a cartoonist with that of teacher of English at María Sarmiento Secondary School in Viveiro, where he has been living since 1992.
