Curriculum

-Family doctor at the health centre of Labañou (A Coruña).

-Founder and editor of Cadernos de Atención Primaria (1994-2005).

-President of the Galician Association of Family and Community Medicine (AGAMFEC) from 1996 to 2005.

-Vice-president of the Medical Association of A Coruña and responsible for the Training Programme from 1998 to 2005.

-He was awarded Lois Peña Novo Prize in 2005 for his commitment in the promotion and defence of Galician language.

-Honourable member with silver emblem of the Medical Association of A Coruña (2007).

-He was on the Commission that elaborated the General Plan for the Standardization of Galician Language, promoted by the ‘Dirección Xeral de Política Lingüística’, which was unanimously approved by the Galician Parliament.

-Ex-director general of Health Assistance of the SERGAS (2005-06).
