She took a degree in English Philology and attended courses at the Pottery School in Madrid. She was captivated by bobbin lace and after taking her diploma, she returned to Galicia to create her own school. She gives bobbin lace summer courses at ‘Casa Cruceiro’ in Las Nieves (Pontevedra). Hundreds of people from Spain and other European countries have been attending her summer courses since 1984.

 Other Interesting Aspects

She is the first Spanish woman that forms part of the International Association of Lacemakers. She got bibliography about this technique, travelled and learnt. From the Czech Republic she brought the modern lace: classes, pendants and other accessories as well as the glass beads bobbin lace from England.
