Since 1968, he has developed a wide cultural and informative activity in Radio Popular de Lugo (“A Carón”). He worked at the Public Relation Department of the following radio stations: SER, Radio Panadés (Vilanova i la Geltrú), Radio Almería, Radio Antequera, Radio Madrid and Radio Valladolid. He was delegate of La Región (Ourense) and collaborated with Spanish TV in Galicia.
He published the following books:
‘El Dios de Roma que lloró por Lugo’, Radio Popular, Lugo (1979);
‘Salou, novia del mar’, Radio Popular, Lugo (1980);
‘Medio cento de galegos e Rosalía’, Edicións Celta (1983), (these three books are based on radio scritps in collaboration with Xulio Xiz);
‘Terras de Lugo’ (1994);
‘O libro da cidade e das parroquias do concello de Lugo’ (1998),
‘Terras do concello de Lugo’ (2005),
'Cantigas da Fonte Arcada' (2008).
He collaborated in “Terra Cha”, the newspaper of Terra Cha Foundation. He also collaborated in the opinion section of www.galiciadigital.com
In 1985, he was awarded Galicia Journalism Prize. From 1976 to 1982, he was awarded over two dozens national and international radiophonic prizes in collaboration with Xulio Xiz: ‘Radio del Bimilenario de Lugo’ International Prize, ‘Ciudad de Salou’ Radio and TV National Prize, ‘Cruzada de Protección Ocular’ Radio National Prize, Best Radiophonic Programme (on three occasions) and Best Radiophonic Activity in the Communication Gold Oscar, ‘U.N.D.A. de Radio Católica’ National Prize, ‘Premio Nacional del Instituto Nacional de Denominaciones de Origen’, ‘La Mancha’ Tourism National Prize, Radio National Prize (Servicio Nacional de Loterías), Cambrils Journalism Prize, “Mallorca” Radio and TV World Prize, ‘Rosalía de Castro’ Radio National Prize and Radio National Prize about Blood Donation (Ministry of Health).
