Manuel de la Fuente started his journalistic career in El Diario de León and the radio station of this city. In the early 50's, he entered the editorial staff of the newspaper Faro de Vigo, where he stayed until he retired in 1996. He collaborated in this newspaper with a very successful section called 'Postales de Vigo'.
