Manuel Balboa developed a great aactivity as a composer of sound tracks. He worked in many Spanish films, especially with José Luis Garci. He participated in ‘La herida luminosa’, ‘El abuelo’ and ‘Canción de Cuna’.

In 1994 he was nominated to a Goya Prize for his collaboration in the film ‘Canción de cuna’.
