In 1977, he entered 'Sant Jordi' School of Fine Arts (Barcelona), taking his degree in 1982 and getting a scholarship from 'Rodríguez Acosta' Foundation (Granada). In 1985, he entered the Corps of teachers of Secondary Education and he has been working at ‘Ánxel Fole’ Secondary School in Lugo since 1988.

He carried out collective exhibitions at 'Comelles' Gallery (Sabadell, 1981), ‘Kreiser’ Gallery (Barcelona, 1982); individual exhibition at ‘Caixa Vigo’ Gallery (Vigo, 1990); individual exhibition at the gallery of the County Council of Lugo (1992); exhibition at ‘BBV’ Gallery (Ponferrada, 1993); exhibition at the Casino of León (1993); collective exhibition at ‘Obelisco’ Gallery (A Coruña, 1995); collective exhibition at ‘Apolo’ Gallery (Lugo, 1996); collective exhibition at ‘Obelisco’ Gallery (A Coruña, 1998); collective exhibition at ‘Alameda’ Gallery (Vigo, 1999 and 2001); exhibitions at ‘M.C.’ Gallery (Santiago de Compostela, 2000 and 2001); individual exhibition at the Cultural Centre of Burela (Lugo) and y individual exhibition at ‘Amararte’ Gallery (Lugo). In 1999, he illustrated texts written by Xosé Miranda in the newspaper El Progreso.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He was awarded 'José Domínguez Guizán' Prize (Begonte - Lugo, 1991) and 'Xermolos’ Prize (Guitiriz, 1993). In 1994, he was finalist at the Painting Contest organised by the City Council of Cambre (A Coruña), accesit at the second edition of ‘Cidade de Lugo’ Fast Painting Contest and finalist at the Painting Contest of the City Council of Cambre (2002).
