PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
-December 2002 – up to date: Managing director of BEGASA (Barras Eléctricas Galaico-Asturianas, S.A.).
-February 2008 – up to date: President of CEL Foundation in Lugo.
-1994 – 2002: Financial-administrative director of BEGASA.
-1990-94: In September 1990 he joined Arthur Andersen (today Deloitte & Touche), one of the first audit and consultancy multinational companies, where he developed his professional career until May 1994 and became a team leader.
-May-July 1990: He collaborated in a research Project for the elaboration of an econometric model of Galician economy in the Econometrics Department of the Faculty of Economical and Business Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES
-Member of the board of directors of the Economists Association of Lugo since 2002, where he was elected vice-dean in June 2008.
-Member of the Social Council of the University of Santiago de Compostela since 2003.
-Member of the mixed commission for the analysis of the financing framework of the University of Santiago de Compostela from 2004 to 2006.
-Member of the Commission for Economical Matters of the Social Council of the University of Santiago de Compostela since 2004.
-Cooperative member of the plenary of the Chamber of Commerce of Lugo since 2006.
-Member of the patronage of CEL Foundation in Lugo since 2003.
-Member of the governing body of the University of Santiago de Compostela from 2005 to 2007.
-Responsible for the delegate commission of the annual prizes of CEL Foundation from 2003 to 2008.

He published an article in El Progreso (Lugo) within a special report of the Economists Association of Lugo (8th July 1998).

Member of the panel for the projects evaluation in the postgraduate course on Business Management, organized by the Faculty of Business Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Lugo Campus)(2003).
