He studied at St Domingo School in A Coruña and took a degree in Law at the University of A Coruña in 1994. He also graduated in Defense Studies at the University of Santiago. After doing his military service (nowadays he is an officer in the voluntary service of the Army), he joined the Bar Association of A Coruña in 1995. He developed his activity in different offices in Galicia. From 1997 to 2003, he enjoyed several research grants at the Galician School of Public Administration, where he filled several offices and coordinated ‘A Lei de Administración Local de Galicia’ (Xunta de Galicia, 1998). From 2004 onwards, he joined a research group of the Archives of Compostela’s Catedral and has published several works about legal aspects of pilgrimage to Santiago. Since 2005 he has filled the office of the Galician Civil Law Section of the Bar Association of A Coruña. That same year, Mapfre Foundation granted an international research grant about the repercussions and responsibilities of the use of chemical products at work. He developed his research throughout 2006 and 2007 and published articles in the magazine of the foundation and a monograph published by this foundation too.

He is the foundation member of Fuente&Pardo Abogados, legal adviser of the Galician Association of Labour Security Professionals and arbiter of the Galician Association for Arbitration. In 2007, he also joined the Bar Associations of Madrid and Barcelona. Nowadays he gives legal advice to several national and international firms and organizations. From 2007 and 2009 he was the secretary general of the Galician Institute for European and Autonomic Studies. Since 2009 he has represented Galicia at Scevola National Association for the Ethics and Quality in the Legal Practice.

In addition to his experience at the Galician School of Public Administration, he collaborates with the Faculty of Law (A Coruña University) and is a teacher at Decano Iglesias Corral School for Juridical Practice. He also directed and coordinated many courses, conferences and seminars. He gave many lectures and participated as a rapporteur in different conferences such as the ‘III Congreso da Avogacía Galega’ (Ourense, 2003) and the ‘VII Congreso Internacional de Academias de Jurisprudencia y Legislación’ (A Coruña, 2010).

He is the editor of Aprosal and member of the editorial staff and advisory board of several specialized juridical magazines like Economist&Jurist and Foro Galego.

He has participated in over a dozen collective books and has published over fifty articles in the most prestigious national and international magazines.
