He was a teacher of Primary Education although he is retired now. He collaborated in several newspapers and got over fifty literary and journalistic prizes. From 8th July 1970 to 28th May 1995, he was Mayor in Pontecesures. He was consultant in the bank firm 'Caixa Provincial de Ahorros de Pontevedra'. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Official Chroniclers. Since 1953, he has been an official chronicler in Pontecesures.

He wrote twenty-one books. These are some of the most important ones: Historia de Pontecesures (2 editions); La Bella Otero (2 editions); El Poeta Rey Romero (2 editions); El Foucellas en el Ullán; Anotaciones históricas del Ullán; Las Ferias del Automóvil de Ocasión (2 editions); Los últimos 100 años de Cesures; El Campanas (Novel); Las pranganas del Toucedán; La historia hablará; Secretos a Voces. Greguerías and Guía histórica de Cesures. He worked as correspondent for the newspapers La Noche, El Ideal Gallego, La Voz, Pueblo Gallego, Diario de Pontevedra and Atlántico Diario. Nowadays, he collaborates with the newspaper Faro de Vigo. He also collaborated with some newspapers in Argentina and Uruguay.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He got the National Journalism Prize about the National Lottery. He got the bronze medal, awarded by the Xunta de Galicia.
