He was awarded the Merit Cross in the Advocacy Service on 3rd May 2010.

He was the secretary general of Real Madrid F.C. from 1990 to 1992.

He was the vice-president of The Spanish Disciplinary Committee for Sports from 1995 to 2001.

He usually gives lectures in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and several countries of Latin America.

He is on the board of director of Real Madrid F.C.
