He was considered to have introduced reports and interviews in the Galician Journalism, genres that did not exist at that moment. He carried out his journalistic activity in the newspapers Faro de Vigo and El Pueblo Gallego, although he also collaborated in the publications 'Galicia', 'Gaceta de Galicia' and 'Vida Gallega' (Vigo), the magazines 'Cristal' and 'Resol' (Pontevedra), 'Erte' (Ferrol), 'Estampa' and 'El Sol' (Madrid) and 'Correo de Galicia' and 'Céltiga' (both of them published in Argentina).

His poetic work, present in all the publications he worked in, was later compiled in a book titled Cartafol de poesía.
