He took part for over 25 years in the table tennis teams (1st division) in Vigo: 'Hogar del Productor', 'Real Club Náutico' and 'Círculo Mercantil', becoming a champion in all specialities of Galician competitions. He took part in all the championships in Spain becoming 'Spanish Champion' within his category (Barcelona, 1956), doubles (Madrid, 1959) and teams at 'Círculo Mercantil' (Vigo, 1967). When he finished his stage as a player, he became a tennis table trainer in the First National Course (Madrid, 1969). He was a table tennis trainer and delegate at 'Círculo Mercantil' Club in Vigo. Until 1988, he was also a member, vice-president and president of the Provincial Federations of Pontevedra. He was also the president of the committee of management that founded the Galician Table Tennis Federation. Since it was founded, he has been the president of the Galician Table Tennis Federation. He has also been a member of the board of directors of the Spanish Table Tennis Federation since 1994, being a member of its commission nowadays. Since it was founded, he has also been a member of the Union of Federations in Vigo.
