Degree in Architecture in 1989 at the Unviersity of Santiago.

MA at Columbia University (New York) in 1991.

Postgraduate courses at the Escola de Design in Porto (1994).

 Work & Activities

In 1996, he founded CSA arquitectura Studio (www.csaarquitectura.com)

In 2010, he founded “CAinstitute” to promote Galician architecture internationally (www.cainstitute.es)

Since 1996 he has been collaborating in the Architecture School at the University of A Coruña.

In 1990 he became teacher and head of department at the School of Arts and Crafts in Ourense.

From 1991 to 1993, he collaborated at “ETC. Engineers & Planners” and “Viñoly Architects” on New York. In 1993, he started his collaboration with Álvaro Siza in his studio in Porto (Portugal).

Sin 1999 he has been collaborating as local associate with David Chipperfield, Peter Eisenman and Álvaro Siza for their projects in Galicia.

He wrote articles and books like 2puntos.y el libro FCI, Siza.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He has been awarded several architecture, painting and photography prizes such as Juana de Vega Prize for the best house. He was also awarded the prize of the tenth edition of COAG Rehabilitation Contest and the honourable mention at the 14th edition of COAG New Building Contest.
In 2013 he was selected as one of the Galician designers of furniture to form part of Amosega: www.amosega.com
