He took a degree and a doctor's degree in Economical and Business Sciences. He is a Professor at Vigo University and the Open University in Ourense.
Together with other authors, he carried out the following research projects: 'La provincia de Ourense. Especial consideración del sistema vitivinícola del Ribeiro' and 'Estudio de viabilidad. Proyecto de Investigation. Ayuntamiento de Vilariño de Conxo". He collaborated in the study 'Capacidades comercializadas de la industria gallega' and was the researcher of the projects: 'Planificación estratégica de la ciudad de Ourense' and 'Estudio del sector de producción y distinción del mueble gallego. Propuesta del modelo'. He is the main researcher of the group 'OC2' (Vigo University). He has written the books La Promovicón de Ventas, Tórculo, January 1990 and Comercio Exterior y Marketing Internacional en las Empresas, enero, 1992. He also published the thesis Análisis de los Canales de Distribución mediante el enfoque económi-político interno. Estudio Empírico en el sector del automóvil and the articles: 'La desinversión' (in the magazine 'Economía y Empresa' nº 22); 'Promociones orientadas a la prueba del consumidor. He directed the College of Business Studies (October 1990 - January 1993) and filled the office of dean in the Faculty of Business Sciences. He is a member of the European Association of Business Economy, member of the staff of Vigo University and coordinator of the Department of Business Organisation and Marketing in the Campus of Ourense.
