He took a degree in Fine Arts at Complutense University in Madrid (1985) and in Geography and History (Art History) at Santiago University (1991) and a doctor’s degree in Art History at the same university in 2001. As far as his teaching activity is concerned, he worked as a temporary Professor, teaching Plastic Art Didactics at Santiago University (1988) and as a permanent Professor at the Plastic Art Didactics University School (1989). In August 1985, he was awarded a scholarship of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Complutense University to study landscape painting in Pontevedra.
