He took a degree in Contemporary Art History at the University of Santiago de Compostela and a master’s degree in Art Aesthetics and Theory (Autonomous University – Madrid). After being at the Galician Centre of Contemporary Art in Santiago de Compostela (1996-1998), he coordinated exhibitions at the Galician Auditorium (1998-2002) and cultural activities in Casa Asia, Barcelona (2002-2003). He has been responsible for exhibitions at the Contemporary Art Museum of Vigo (MARCO) since 2003, which he began to direct on 17th November 2005.
His professional experience includes the coordination of exhibitions and other cultural activities, publications as well as the participation in several projects related to national and international contemporary art and culture.
