He took a diploma on Business Sciences (1987), a degree in Economical and Business Sciences (1990) and a doctor’s degree in Economical and Business Sciences (2002) at Santiago de Compostela University. He has been working as an assistant Professor at Santiago de Compostela University in the Financial Economy and Accountancy Department (Faculty of Administration and Business Management) since 1995. He also worked in several private companies, where he filled different offices.

He also wrote articles in different magazines on Economy and carried out several research projects. He has presented reports in national and international conferences and has given postgraduate courses, masters and seminarios in different universities.

He is also an insurance and estate agent and auditor. He has filled the following offices: president of the Businessmen Conferederation of Lugo, president of CEL Foundation, president of the University Campus Foundation in Lugo, vicepresident of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation in Lugo, member of the Social Council of Santiago de Compostela University, president of the Commission of International Relations of the Businessmen Confereration of Lugo. He is a member of the College of Mercantile and Business Graduates of Lugo, the College of Economists of Lugo, the European Association of Management and Business Economy and the Galician College of Administrators de Fincas de Galicia.
