Nowadays, he is a canon and first organist at Lugo's Cathedral. He studied at the Music School in Madrid, getting a diploma in Gregorian Chant, Rythm, Paleography and Choral Conductorship. He studied harmony, counterpoint, fugue and composition in Barcelona with L. Molius. He was an organist at the Seminary in Palencia, at San Andrés de Carrión de los Condes parish church (Palencia) and musical adviser in Lugo. He studied Piano with J. Larrea from Palencia and organ with Alejandro Onrubia from Valladolid. He gave organ concerts at Lugo's Cathedral, 'San Francisco Javier' and 'San Pedro' parish churches, etc.

 Work & Activities

He has an unpublished work, Cancionero Gallego de Lugo, prologued by José Trapero Pardo. He composed the following works for organ Variaciones sobre el Pange Lingua, Minerva de Lugo, Scherzo 1 y 2, Versos para vísperas, Gran Coro, Rondo, Lento sobre el Pange Lingua, Fugas (cuaserno) a 2, 3, 4 y 5 voces. He also composed several folk songs of Lugo (Branca Pombiña, O carreteriño, etc) and two masses for two voices and several religious songs.
