 Curriculum

Son to the painter Tomás Pereira, he grew up among paintbrushes and oils.
His first studies with Ramón Núñez marked his humanistic education, completed by his mother’s outstanding private library.
He moved to London in the early 80’s to improve his artistic education at the Barnet Art Center, although he acquired his true artistic education throughout the years he worked at his father’s studio, working with all sort of materials and styles.
Fernando Pereira paints more with the heart than the mind. His figures have worrying looks although they have no eyes. Classic norms appear despite being deliberately ignored.
