In 1988, he began to study Solfa, Pipe, Flute and Percussion with his father, Cándido Díaz Muela. He has collaborated with the folk group 'Zuncurrundullo', playing the flute and pipe. In 1993, he made a record with this group thanks to 'Pelegrín 93' Prize. Since 1990, he has formed part of 'Zuncurrundullo' Pipe Band as a soloist. This band won the Galician Pipe Championships in 1998 and got the second position in these championships in the rest of the years until 2000 that got the fourth position. In 1996, he started his studies at the Conservatoire in Lugo, specialising in Percussion. From 1997 to 1999, he taught Music at 'Fingoy' School (Lugo), especially Galician pipe and percussion. Since 1997, he has taught Galician pipe in the first, second, third and fourth courses at the Music School of 'Zuncurrundullo' Cultural and Musical Association. He has also taught Galician pipe, traditional percussion and pipe bands at 'Neireo' Music School in Baleira (Lugo). During the period 1999-2000, he taught Music at 'Barrio Sésamo' nursery school. Since the year 2000, he is the drummer of the heavy metal group 'Die-Away'. He forms part of the orchestra of the Music Conservatoire in Lugo and has collaborated with the Music Band of Paradela (Lugo) and 'Camerata Lucense' in 2001. In 2001, he formed part of the record Ultravioleta by 'Zuncurrundullo' as a piper and percussionist. In 2002, he got a scholarship to play percussion at the Music Band in Lugo.

 Other Interesting Aspects

When he was twelve, he was awarded the second prize as a soloist piper at 'Lorient' Celtic Festival. In 1993, he was awarded 'Cántigas e Agarimos' first prize of traditional quartets in Santiago, representing 'Zuncurrundullo'.
