She is an autodidact and writes in ‘Entremuros’ about her way of feeling painting. She also writes poetry, stories and essays.

 Work & Activities

She carried out her first individual exhibition in 1984 at the gallery of the B.C. I. in Lugo. From 1984 onwards, she exhibited her works at A Coruña City Council, Almirante Gallery (Lugo), Sargadelos Gallery (Lugo and Vigo) and the Association of Artists of A Coruña. In 2005, she exhibited her works at José Lorenzo Gallery (Santiago de Compostela), Barna Gallery (Barcelona), ‘Arte-Nim’ International Fair, Nimes (France) and at the Frankfurt International Fair (Germany).
She wrote articles in El Progreso, El Ideal Gallego, La Voz de Galicia, La Vanguardia and ‘Entremuros’ (magazine).
In recognition of his artistic activity, Enrique Iglesias Alvarellos, writer and musicologist, included her in his book ‘Mulleres destacadas de Galicia’.
In 1993, she was interviewed in several Galician and Catalonian radio stations as well as on Galician and Spanish TV. In September of that same year, she participated in ‘Desde Galicia para el Mundo’ (international programme on Spanish TV.

Her works can be found in private collections and public collections of ‘Banco de Crédito e Inversiones’, ‘Banco Gallego’, Lugo County Council, A Coruña City Council and José Lorenzo Gallery (Santiago de Compostela).
