David Suárez Quintanilla
Curriculum He took a degree in Medicine at Santiago University and specialised in Stomatology at Oviedo University and Orthodontics at Valencia University. As Professor, he teaches Orthodontics at Santiago University. He is the head of the university service of Investigation and Treatment of dental and facial deformities and director of the Orthodontics higher course at Santiago University. He is also the director of 'S&S' Orthodontics Clinics. He worked as scientific advisor for six scientific magazines about Odontology and advisor in foundations and odontological laboratories. He also directed formation courses about International Orthodontics.
Work & Activities He published five books about Orthodontics and was one of the authors of the book Tratado de Odontología and six books about Odontology and Orthodontics. He also wrote 110 scientific articles and gave 125 lectures and national and international courses.
Other Interesting Aspects He got a prize from the European Magazine of Odontology and Stomatology and the national prize of the General Committee of odontologists and stomatologists. He was the president of two international congresses about Odontology. He also works as private doctor in Santiago and Ourense. He is married and has two children. Hobbies: reading (essay), graphic design, underwater fishing and diving.
