He studied at the School of Industrial Mastery in Lugo. -1964: he began to work as a shop assistant in a photographic studio and participated in some photographic contests and was awarded several prizes. -1969: he participated in a short film with Manolo Sicart as a cameraman and mounter and was awarded the second prize in Vilagarcía Festival. -1970: he practised professional photography. -1973: collaborated as a photographer with the newspaper El Progreso and Europea Press Agency. He founded Fonmiña Group (he is a honourable member) and the Cinema Week of Lugo. -1980: he directed the first video club ‘Videolugo’. -1986: he was one of the founders and technical director of Ophiusa, S.L. Video Producer and Ophiusa and Citania Publications, specialised in the publications of books written in Galician language, mainly those related to culture and education. -1994: he was one of the founders and technical director of the first local TV in Lugo. -2000: he was one of the founders and technical director of the web site ‘Galiciadixital.com’.
He was the cameraman and producer of over a hundred programmes for Ophiusa, all of them broadcasted on Galician TV and Spanish TV in Galicia as well as many video productions within the collection ‘Videoteca de Galicia’ (two of them were considered as video films of national touristic interest by the Ministry of Trade and Tourism). From 1994 to 1998 he also produced several programmes on Lugo TV.
