He arrived in the Canary Islands in 1949. Since 1953, he has been living in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. He wrote about Canarian and Galician themes. His eager spirit made him travel around the whole Spanish territory, the Western Sahara and Europe from the beginning to end. He feels a deep love for Galician and Canarian culture and tradition, which is reflected in the recreation of the Canarian past and the determination to make Galician culture known in the Canary Islands, mainly those aspects that can be common between both regions. In the last forty years, he has edited 'Aturuxo', the yearly magazine of 'Casa de Galicia' in Las Palmas. He has collaborated in the local press with more than 500 articles and different reports and in several magazines, Galician newspapers and other publications. He also held radio programmes for some time in different Canarian radio stations.

He wrote many works about Galician themes such as: Un episodio de los tiempos celtas (Las Palmas 1969); Gallegos en Gran Canaria (Santiago 2000) and other works about Canary themes such as: De la historia de Canarias (Las Palmas 1969), Mis exploraciones canarias (Las Palmas 1970) La historia de Canarias en episodios (Las Palmas 1971) ...De la isla redonda, tales (Bilbao 1973), El cine en Canarias (Las Palmas 1981), Los apellidos en Canarias (Las Palmas 1982), Calles de Las Palmas (Las Palmas 1998), Nuevo nomenclator callejero de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Las Cabalgatas de Reyes en Las Palmas. He also wrote other works, which are still unpublished but have already been presented in several newspapers, magazines and bulletins. We must also mention his unpublished books: Siete temas gallegos, about historic, legendary and artistic events in Galicia (De celtas y comics - El ciclo artúrico o asturiano - San Antolín de Toques y su excepcional Calvario - El curato de Ponte Arcediago - La batalla de Porto de Bois - García de Remesil and La Torre de Sanxurxo y Carlomagno y Galicia) and Parolando, which is a selection of texts taken from conferences in the Canarian Islands about Galician themes.
