-Assistant professor of Analytical Chemistry of the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology of the USC from 1988 to 1989.
-Lecturer of Analytical Chemistry of the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology of the USC from 1989 to 1991.
-Professor of the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology of the USC from 1991 up to date.
 
USC GOVERNMENT POSITIONS
-Vice-dean of the Faculty of Sciences (Campus of Lugo) (1994-1995).
-Assistant to the vice-rector of Coordination of the Campus of Lugo (1995-2000).
-Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Lugo (2000-2002).
-Member of the Social Council of the USC since 2001.
-He was also Vice-rector of Coordination of the Campus of Lugo.

-Main researcher in 19 agreements and research projects of the area of Analytical Chemistry founded by national public and private organizations.
-Collaborator researcher in four research projects of the area of Analytical Chemistry founded by several autonomic, national and European organizations.
-PhD supervisor of three doctoral thesis of the area of Analytical Chemistry.
-Director of several minor theses and dissertations of the area of Analytical Chemistry.
 
PUBLICATIONS
-He has published two books and research and teaching monographs related to the area of Analytical Chemistry.
-He is the author of over 70 research articles published in international research magazines of the area of Analytical Chemistry.
-He has written over 80 reports on national and international conferences.
