 Curriculum

He introduced the Baroque art in Galicia. He specialised in the altarpieces that were sculpted in his workshop in Compostela. His most important works were carried out in the first half of the 16th century. These are some of the most important ones: the tabernacle of the Reliquias Chapel (1625-30), the tabernacle of Doña Mencía de Andrade Chapel (in collaboration with Gregorio Español), the tabernacle of the chancel of the church of St Agustin Convent (it was repaired in 1631), the tabernacle of St Miguel de los Agros Chapel (repaired in 1639) and the high altar of Hospital Chapel (1657).
