He became a Franciscan monk in 1817. In 1824, he was appointed to the professorship of Arts in the convent of Tui (Pontevedra) and in 1830 he took his doctor's degree at Salamanca University.
From 1861 to 1864, he published several programmes to teach Philosophy, basis on Religion, Psychology, etc and from 1865 to 1881, he published seven lessons of Psychology, Logic and Ethics.
