He emigrated to Cuba and began to work as a journalist. Then he returned to his native city and worked in the newspaper La Voz de Galicia until he retired.

He wrote many satirical plays about the present-day matters of his city such as Los líos del Estatuto o "miss" Capitalidad; Vuelan mis ferretes; Viaje de "mis" Patela, de Nueva York a La Grela; Un ferrete sin censura es más bravo que un miura, etc. Besides, he wrote many comedies and several 'zarzuelas' such as El indulto and La represa y el río.

 Other Interesting Aspects

In his 80th birthday, he was paid an important homage at Colon Theatre in his native city.
