As a painter, he has carried out several individual exhibitions in A Coruña, Lugo, Vigo, Ferrol, Santiago de Compostela, Madrid, Valladolid and collective exhibitions in Paris and Lugo. He made the promotional posters of the Road to Santiago for Xacobeo 93 and Xacobeo of the end of the millennium (1999). He made illustrations for the book Gran Cantata Xacobea and works for the funds of 'Caixa Galicia' Foundation. He also made many promotional posters for fairs and festivities ('Vino de Chantada', 'Aguardiente de Portomarín', 'Queso de Monterroso'...). As a writer, he published the following books: Pazos y señoríos de la provincia de Lugo I; Pazos y señoríos de la provincia de Lugo II (both books can be found in the National Library of Washington); Os Xeitos de Hoxe (book of poems), Argalladas do pobo (comic). Alcaldes e alcaldesas. El Condado de Monterroso: pasado y presente and Guía turística de Meira. He has also written many articles in Galician newspapers.
