He created and directed the Navigation School in A Coruña. He collaborated on several occasions in the magazines 'Revista General de la Marina' and 'Cuadernos de Tiro Naval'. Under the pseudonym 'Aspi', he collaborated in the newspaper El Correo Gallego with a daily column.
