He studied at the Seminary in Lugo. He worked as Language and Latin teacher at 'Concepción Arenal' School in Ourense and as Spanish Language teacher at 'Alemán' and 'Labor' Schools in Vigo. He also worked as teacher of Primary Education in Chantada and other surrounding areas. He became delegate of 'Caja de Ahorros' in A Coruña and Lugo. He was correspondent of the newspapers El Progreso and La Voz de Galicia in Chantada and the radio stations 'Radio Nacional' in Monforte and 'Cope' in Lugo.

 Work & Activities

He painted linoleum on wood using Indian ink, saffron, coffee, paintings... He has hundred of works related to the old Galicia (wizards, witchcraft, witches, Sabbath...). He also cultivated sculpture. Some of his works such as O cego de Romil got national prizes. He presented several exhibitions in Santiago, Lugo, Lisbon, Valladolid, Gijón and Chantada and celebrated a successful monographic exhibitions about the chimneys that can be seen from the Roman Wall. It was picked up in a book published by the County Council of Lugo.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He collaborated in all the cultural activities celebrated in Chantada and the surrounding areas. He belonged to the Culture Society of the County Council of Lugo. He was nominated 'lucense del año' in 1984.
