He began to work as an actor in 1978. He studied at the Scuola Internazionale dell’attore Comico with Antonio Fava, at the Bont’s School of Clown with Eric de Bont and participated in several workshops with Jesús Aladrén, Martín Adjemián, Leo Bassi and John Wright, specialising in humour, clown and Commedia dell’Arte. He has participated in the following companies: ‘O Moucho Clerc’ (‘Un códice clandextino’, ‘O Rousinol da Bretanha’), ‘Galician Dramatic Centre’ (‘Espectros’, ‘Un soño de verán’, ‘O incerto señor don Hamlet’) and ‘Ollomoltranvia’ (‘Commedia: un xoguete para Goldoni’, ‘Escola de Bufóns’…). Nowadays, he works in the comical duet ‘Mofa y Befa’ (‘Finis Mundi Circus’). In 1999, he was awarded ‘María Casares’ Prize to the best actor.

 Work & Activities

As far as cinema is concerned, he participated in ‘O agasallo de Silvia’, ‘O alquimista impaciente’ and ‘Para que non me esquezas’ and in several shorts such as ‘Cielito lindo’, ‘Él nunca lo haría’ and ‘Mofa e Befa: Gran liquidación’ (he was awarded the prize of the Galician Association of Independent Actors). As for television, he participated in the following TV serials: ‘Un paso adelante’ (Antena 3) and ‘Mareas Vivas’ (Galician TV) and in the humour programmes ‘Apaga a luz’ and ‘Máxima audiencia’ (Galician TV). He has also participated in several advertising works (‘Dr. Vox’ campaign for La voz de Galicia) and as a dubbing actor.
