She lived with her family in Lucerne (Switzerland) since she was five until her adolescence. She has a thirteen-year-old daughter.
After studying Secondary Education at Otero Pedrayo Secondary School in Ourense, she studied Psychology at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She speaks German.
Since 1990 she has been a civil servant of the Justice Administration, nowadays she is working in Ourense.
She started her social work in her native village and has been on the board of directors of Auriense Cultural Association since 2001.
She has been a member of nationalism since the early 90’s. From 1995 to 2003 she was on the board of the Justice Administration in Ourense, representing the CIG. She was the regional secretary of the Federation of CIG Public Administration in Ourense for five years and member of its national direction.
She was a town councillor and spokeswoman of the BNG in Barbadás from 1995 to 2005. She held a seat in the County Council of Ourense from 1999 to 2005. She was on the regional council of Ourense-O Carballiño and was elected by the 6th national assembly of the BNG as a member of the national council.
In the last session she was deputy and vice-president of the Galician Parliament, where she was spokeswoman responsible for Agriculture.
