Curriculum

He took a degree in Medicine and Surgery at Salamanca University and a doctor's degree at the Autonomous University of Madrid, specialising in Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. He is a Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at A Coruña University, secretary of the University School of Occupational Therapy and vice-president of the Society of Phoniatrics of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. As a resident doctor, he was responsible for Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine at 'La Paz' Hospital in Madrid (1989-1992) and expert on this area in the same hospital (1993-2000). He was also an assistant Professor of Physiotherapy at 'Rey Juan Carlos' University in Madrid (1998-2000).
