Nicolás Camino Huertas

He studied in Santiago and Madrid and worked as a teacher at ‘Agra do Orzán’ Secondary School in A Coruña. He began to work in ‘Radiocadena Española’ presenting several programmes. He was the head of programmes in the Galician radio station. He has been directing two programmes about Galician choral societies and music bands: ‘Así canta Galicia’ and ‘Concerto Popular’.

 Work & Activities

Nicolás Camino published the book Así canta Galicia aabout the history of many polyphonic choral societies, prologued by Xesús Ferro Ruibal.

 Other Interesting Aspects

He founded the Broadcasting Galician Association, which groups Galician radio professionals. He was the first president of this association.
