She took a degree in Geography and History (Art section), specialising in Ancient Art and Museology at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
She participated in the archaeological interventions carried out in 1984 and 1986 at Castro de Penalva (Campolameiro, Pontevedra).
She reorganised, catalogued and set up the Archaeology and Ethnography section of Lugo’s Provincial Museum from February 1990 up to January 1993. She filled the office of technician of the Archaeology and History Section in the Cataloguing and Documentation Department of Lugo’s Provincial Museum, dependent on Lugo County Council.
She was a foundation member of ‘Chaira’ in 1992 together with M. Salvador, A. Reigosa and X. Cubas. This team is dedicated to ethnographic research and the study on popular oral literature in Galicia.
