1951: Degree in Law at Santiago University. 1966: Higher Course in Legal Institutions at Wisconsin University, U.S.A. 1967: Assistant research worker in the Faculty of Law at Wisconsin University. 1971: Doctor of Philosophy at Wisconsin University and doctor in Law according to the resolution of the Ministry of Education on 22nd April 1988. 1968-72: Research Professor at the Catholic University 'Andrés Bello' (Caracas). 1972-82: Head of the de Agrarian Law Professorship at 'Los Andes' University (Mérida, Venezuela). 1986-90: Assistant lecturer of Commercial Law at Santiago University. 1990-98: Assistant lecturer of Commercial Law at Vigo University and Counsel of the Bar in Vigo and Pontevedra. 1968: President and founder of the Galician Culture Foundation in Caracas. 1974: Member and director of the Latin-American Institute of Agrarian Law and Land Reform at 'Los Andes' University (Mérida). 1978: Member of the 'Instituto de Diritto Agrario Internazionale e Comparato' (Florence). 1979-80: Consular Delegate of Spain in Mérida (Venezuela). 1980: Member of the Spanish Association of Agrarian Law (Madrid). 1990: Member of the Galician Institute of Latin-American Studies (Vigo). 1995: General co-ordinator of the Fifth National Congress of Agrarian Law (Vigo). 1996: Member and president of the association 'Amigos de la Universidad de Vigo' (Friends of Vigo University).
