Curriculum

He took a degree in Pedagogy and was politically linked to the group led by Paco Vázquez, mayor of A Coruña, being responsible for Culture. He was the president of the Galicia Symphonic Orchestra (1994-2004), councillor responsible for Education and Culture (1987-2003) and for Town Planning and Housing in the City Council of A Coruña (2003-2004), State secretary of Territorial Cooperation (2004-2005) and 'conselleiro' of the Presidency in the Xunta de Galicia (2005-2009).
