He studied at 'Misioneros de Ultramar' School in Ocaña in 1848 and finished his career at Manila University, where he was ordained as a priest in 1854. He was appointed to the missions in Tung-King (1855) and filled the office of rector at the Seminary of Niuh-Cnomg. He was persecuted and died of cholera in Bai-Tiuh before being nominated as apostolic vicar.
